Hi there!
I write to you on the other side of a very meaningful and fruitful time at one of my alma maters, Princeton Theological Seminary. I led a workshop where I shared my life in five bites and discussed why food is so damn powerful and it made me wonder: why am I not doing this like this where I actually live? Stay tuned on that as I ponder on it.
Here are the Summer things to take note of:
July - Pie Chest Academy Level 1 - NOW ENROLLING! If you would love to learn how to make a Pie Chest pie of your choice from start to finish, this is for you! The Academy is 5 weeks, meeting once a week on the same day/time. I have taught four classes since February and am excited to have a summer class while the produce is at it’s absolute best. If you are interested in Pie Chest Academy, please email me at flourpower314@gmail.com or reply to this post!
July 28 - It’s Tomato Tomato time! I’ll be slinging mini Tomato Pies but will also do another run of special orders for larger pies. Pickup will be at the festival, so stay tuned for ordering info.
For more info: Tomato Tomato Fest
August 22 - PIE CHEST FEST at Hark Vineyards! We had us a hell of a time last year and hope to capture the magic again serving savory pies, sweet pie slices, treats, and more. This year we will offer pre-orders to help with the coming chaos!
August 29 - Tomato Dinner at Ethos Wine & Tea - Tomatoes are one of my 3 favorite foods, so join me as I serve a 4 course meal that utilizes tomatoes in every course!
More registration info and details about each of these events to come - for now, take note in your calendars! Hope to see you at one or all.
And, of course, more to come in the Fall!
Let’s enjoy Summer first. <3
Rachel
